Mission Focus

The mission of The Kansas Association for Play Therapy is to promote, encourage, and educate others in the use of Play Therapy techniques to effectively treat mental health issues in people of all ages. The board holds the responsibility to facilitate and carry out this mission and to provide the members with the best opportunities to fulfill the objectives of this mission. We want to create and maintain a positive, encouraging and competent professional community for the members to enhance awareness, education, and sustainability of Play Therapy as a viable mental health modality to help children, families, and adults.

Any feedback is welcomed. Please email president@ksa4pt.org with ideas on ways to practice our mission statement and any improvements that the board can make to best serve the members.
